IBM, Dfns Launch Digital Asset Haven by 2025

IBM and Dfns officially announced the launch of “Digital Asset Haven”, a new platform offering digital asset management, compliance, and custody solutions. The platform is designed to meet the high standards of traditional financial systems and will be available by the end of 2025. IBM’s technology will enhance security with advanced MPC, HSM, and quantum-safe encryption integration.

Dfns has created 15 million wallets for over 250 clients. The platform aims to integrate digital assets into mainstream financial systems, enabling enterprises to transition from pilot projects to full-scale production. IBM plans a flexible deployment with SaaS and hybrid SaaS models initially, followed by on-premises deployment by mid-2026.

“For digital assets to be integrated into core banking and capital markets systems, the underlying infrastructure must meet the same standards as traditional financial rails. Together with IBM, we’ve built a platform that goes beyond custody to orchestrate the full digital asset ecosystem, paving the way for digital assets to move from pilot programs to production at a global scale.” — Clarisse Hagège, CEO, Dfns

Initial reactions from the financial and technology sectors anticipate increased adoption of compliant digital asset services.
