Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has hailed a record-breaking surge in engagement with Midnight Network’s Glacier airdrop, calling it one of the most remarkable in blockchain history.
Taking on X, formerly Twitter, Hoskinson noted, “Already 11000 redemptions for 250,000,000 night! I’m blown away by the progress.”
In just 24 hours, over 250 million Midnight (NIGHT) tokens were redeemed across 11,000 wallets, making it this year’s largest multi-chain airdrop, spanning eight blockchains, including Cardano (ADA), XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL).
The Midnight airdrop is part of a massive 24 billion NIGHT token rollout, with 12 billion NIGHT tokens reserved for Cardano holders and the rest allocated to BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, and other cryptocurrencies.
Approximately 37 million wallets qualified, highlighting an unprecedentedly broad snapshot.

What underscores this milestone? Well, the unmatched demand, because 250 million tokens were claimed within hours, signals massive community interest.
Furthermore, cross-chain scalability is demonstrated by the activity across eight blockchains, showcasing Midnight’s bold interoperability push.
What are Cardano’s Stakes of Hitting $0.90?
According to market analyst Lingrid, ADA is rebounding after a successful retest of its former trendline, which is now confirmed as support.
Historically, similar setups have triggered strong rallies toward the next resistance zone.
She added, “Price is currently consolidating above $0.73, forming a higher low inside the rising wedge. If momentum builds from this base, the move toward the $0.86–0.90 target zone looks increasingly probable.”
At the time of this writing, Cardano was trading at $0.7271, according to CoinGecko data.
Meanwhile, Cardano is set for a long-term surge as the ADA spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) is poised to unlock unprecedented demand.
