The rollout begins with Vietnam and Brazil, enabling users to make seamless crypto payments at over 17 million merchants that support the respective native QR systems in the two countries. This milestone marks a significant step in Gate Pay’s global expansion and localization strategy.
Supporting VietQR and Pix to Bridge Crypto Payments with National-Level Networks
In Vietnam, Gate Pay has partnered with authorized payment provider AEON to integrate with the country’s VietQR network, which currently covers over 2 million merchants nationwide. Users can now use Gate Pay to scan VietQR codes at participating stores and directly pay with stablecoins such as USDT or USDC, without converting to local fiat or going through additional intermediaries.
Meanwhile, in Brazil, Gate Pay has integrated with Pix, the instant payment network launched by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2020. Pix has since become one of Brazil’s most popular payment systems, used by 170 million individuals and over 15 million merchants across the country.
Through Gate Pay’s Pix integration, Brazilian users can now make crypto payments through Gate Pay in their familiar scenarios, from cafés and restaurants payments to school tuition and household bills, with just one scan.

The National QR Code feature allows Gate Pay to automatically recognize the user’s country during a transaction and intelligently match the optimal payment rail and settlement method. During the entire process, users do not need to manually switch networks or currencies.
