Fuse Ember Node Presale Begins Ahead of L2 Upgrade

  • Ember Node Sale provides governance and rewards for participants.
  • Fuse L2 migration scheduled for April, with a 1:1 token swap.

Fuse has released the details of its Ember Node Sale as it readies itself for the future Fuse Layer 2 (L2) network migration. Some key players in the industry, including Collider Ventures, Tectona, Spark, TRGC, and Blockchain Founders Fund, support the move. The presale, which opens on February 11 at 5 p.m. UTC, has already reached full subscription. After this, a public sale will allow the Fuse community to purchase nodes. This will enable them to help validate and govern the network.

The new L2 network is in development with the Polygon zkEVM CDK to provide Visa-level transactional throughput. Fuse nodes will run on this improved infrastructure, working to improve the network’s tokenomics and governance model. Node operators will receive 30% of all transactional fees under the new token design. They will also share in a 42 million $FUSE rewards pool, with 20 million $FUSE distributed in the first year.

Fuse Announces Ember Node Sale to Support L2 Migration

To make the Ember Node Sale a reality, Fuse partnered with NodeOps, a Node-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider of one-click deployment, automatic updates, and 100% uptime promises. The alliance enables seasoned node operators and investors to secure the network and earn rewards. It also allows them to participate in governance without requiring high-level technical abilities.

Before the launch of the L2 network, Fuse is ready to introduce a new tokenomics model with an upper limit for the total supply of 400 million $FUSE. In addition, a leading Web3 cloud services firm, QuickNode, has signed on as a strategic partner and will include Fuse’s L2 network in its infrastructure.

The Ember Node Sale offers the Fuse community a chance to contribute actively to the growth of the network. The initial price per node is $315, which goes up to $2,500 in subsequent tiers. The initial tier is reserved for those who hold $FUSE tokens.

Fuse’s transition to its new L2 network is scheduled for April, in addition to a 1:1 token swap for all existing $FUSE holders. Following the migration, Fuse will expand its ecosystem by backing DeFi protocols and infrastructure providers and become the leading Web3 network for private and scalable stablecoin payments.

Built for seamless payments, Fuse empowers companies to leverage blockchain technology across mobile, e-commerce, loyalty rewards, and branded stablecoins. With speedy, inexpensive, and borderless transactions, Fuse is emerging as a key force in the changing world of digital payments.
