Floki Inu Partners with Method to Expand Valhalla to MMO Fans

  • Floki Inu partners with Method to bring Valhalla closer to traditional MMO players through esports content and brand exposure.
  • Valhalla Patch 0.35.0 adds new Veras, strategic combat upgrades, and boosts NFT utility with Vera Essence and FlokiTars.

Floki Inu has taken a bold step that not many crypto projects dare to try. They have partnered with Method—an esports organization with a strong reputation in the world of online gaming, especially MMOs like World of Warcraft.

The Floki team wants to reach a community of gamers who have been closer to traditional games than Web3. And this is not a collaboration that can be underestimated. Method will wear Valhalla-branded jerseys until the end of 2026, while also producing various original content that discusses gameplay, strategy, and mechanics in the Valhalla game.

If you don’t know yet, Valhalla is a Web3 game made by Floki that will officially launch on the main network, aka mainnet, on June 30, 2025. This momentum is a crucial point, because not only is the technology being prepared, but also the distribution of marketing campaigns to communities outside of crypto.

On Reddit, for example, as we have highlighted previously, Floki has already run a four-week ad campaign on various popular subreddits targeting gamers in the US, India, and Latin America. So it’s not just blockchain enthusiasts that are being targeted, but also online gamers who may not even have a wallet yet.

Floki Inu Strengthens Valhalla Gameplay With NFT Utility Boost

Interestingly, Floki is not only active on one channel. In addition to Reddit and Method, they are also strengthening the technical side of the game through a major update announced a few days ago.

CNF reports that Valhalla Patch 0.35.0 introduces a variety of new Vera—in-game characters—along with a more flexible combat system and more diverse strategies. Additional features such as Vera Essence and FlokiTars even open up new functions for NFTs in the game. This means that players don’t just collect images, but can actually use them in the development of gameplay.

Meanwhile, Floki also seems to be aware that digital identity on Web3 is important. In May, CNF previously reported on the launch of Floki Hub—a decentralized identity center that allows users to have a .floki domain, complete with wallet info, social media links, NFTs, and even an on-chain resume. You could say this is like a combination of a LinkedIn profile and a gamer tag, but a censorship-resistant Web3 version.

When put together, all of these strategies show a fairly clear pattern. Floki doesn’t just want to be known as a meme project or community token. They want to fill the online gaming space with a truly serious approach—both in terms of gameplay and user experience.

On the other hand, their move to partner with Method also signals that they are ready to enter the traditional gamer community without having to force them to become “crypto kids” first.

Meanwhile, as of the writing time, FLOKI is swapped hands at about $0.00007104, up 1.49% over the last 24 hours and its market cap is at about $683 million.
