- FatMan’s unknown friend spent $30,000, for promoting DOCK tokens.
- He advertised the token through crypto shilling video and billboards in cities.
According to the latest tweet from FatMan, a Terra Forum Researcher, his unknown friend previously paid for the promotion of DOCK, a digital token, through crypto shilling video and billboard advertisements. His recent Twitter post revealed that his friend bought crypto shilling video worth of $30,000 from the YouTube video creator, BitBoy Crypto, to drive up the growth of DOCK tokens.
Even though his unknown friend is not directly related to DOCK token’s team, he particularly picked DOCK, because it is a Binance coin with lesser trading volume that is simpler to promote and doesn’t require excessive selling volume, FatMan Terra stated. Apart from the sponsored video, his friend also advertised the token through billboards in popular cities such as New York, London, and Amsterdam.
FatMan tweeted that:
Sure enough, over the next few days, ads started popping up in London, NYC, and Amsterdam. There were loads of lovely pictures he sent me but I can’t find all of them. Also, lo and behold, the BitBoy video goes up a week later, which my friend said he paid $30k for.
Will the Dock Price Surge in the Future?
As per FatMan, the promotion of DOCK through crypto shill videos and billboards resulted in tremendous growth in the value of the token. Also he said that an individual who controls billions can influence the top-positioned coins, even the crypto market. At the same time, Binance, DOCK, and BitBoy Crypto didn’t respond to FatMan’s tweets.
DOCK is the native token of the Dock platform, which is built on the Polkadot ecosystem and the DOCK coin reached its all-time high value of $0.2427, in May 2018.
However, at the time of writing the DOCK token is trading around $0.01783 with a 24-hour trading volume of $926,066, as per CMC. Dock is down 0.39% in the last 24 hours with a market cap of $13,992,919.
