The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently reviewing 16 Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) applications from the cryptocurrency sector, which are likely to receive approval in October. The ETFs to be approved this month include those related to Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Litecoin (LTC).
If the SEC approves these exchange products, the top altcoins are expected to surge in value. Many of these ETFs have been under consideration for over a year, and most of the necessary groundwork has already been completed by the authorities. There are even more ETFs under revision by the SEC, including those of BNB, TRUMP, AVAX, and others, but their final deadlines aren’t approaching in October.
The Complete List
James Seyffart, a popular crypto analyst on X, shared an extensive list of pending ETFs.
While the list itself tracks a massive 92 ETPs overall, a close inspection reveals that 16 of these have a final deadline set in October. October has been a largely bullish month over the years and is named “Uptober” by the crypto community for this reason. With the ETF news around the corner, it could provide the much-needed boost for the altcoin market.
Dominating the next wave of ETF approval include renowned firms like BitWise, Grayscale, CoinShares, Canary, Fidelity, and others. These funds were the first to gain approval for crypto ETFs in the country and are well-versed in the process.

Will the SEC Approve these ETFs?
There is a high probability that the securities regulator will approve these 16 ETFs. Seyffort has put the likelihood of their approval at around 90%. The SEC regulatory apparatus has, overall, been very accommodating towards digital currencies during the Trump presidency, but it is taking its time.
There is no realistic reason to expect that a large number of ETFs will be rejected, as it might create further legal problems for the agency. Nate Geraci, as an asset manager and ETF analyst, tweeted:
“Starts this week with a deadline on the Canary spot Litcoin ETF. Will be followed by decisions on sol, doge, xrp, ada, & hbar ETFs, though SEC can approve any or all of these whenever,”
However, whether or not the ETFs will be successful is for the market to decide.
