DOGE Founder Now Says All Crypto Projects Launched Now Are Just Cash Cows For Their Creators.

Just recently, Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus tweeted that every token launched on Binance Smart Chain is worthless garbage and anyone shilling them is an idiot.

However, he seemed to forget that he’s one of the creators of a meme coin called DOGE that literally idolizes a dog. His tweets about BSC sparked a backlash on crypto Twitter and didn’t augur well with the community.

It Was Just A Joke

Now, Shibetoshi is back to defend his stance and fend off attacks referencing his role in DOGE.

In a recent tweet, Billy admitted that DOGE was started as a joke meant to make fun of the overtly nonsensical crypto dynamics. Surprisingly, the memecoin caught the attention of millions of crypto fans and went on to gain support and become one of the top coins in the market.

From a critical perspective, Billy Markus would seem to have a strong point if at all he really started Dogecoin as a way to make fun of the crypto market.

“every project started now is made to enrich the creators at the expense of the community.”

Projects Are Made To Enrich Creators

According to him, the projects being started now are only meant to make their creators rich on the backs of the unsuspecting crypto community.

He further said: “if you made money from some “BSC gem,” you just took it from some gambler who also wanted to make money.”

Billy was saying this to defend his earlier stance about the tokens launched on BSC. He was replying to one crypto fan who alleged that Billy bailed out of the DOGE project and dumped his stash on the community even before the coin was stable in the market.

Billy Didn’t Buy A Honda Civic

When Billy tweeted about BSC, one fan responded by saying Billy sold his DOGE stash to buy a car, a Honda Civic, alluding to the rug-pulling nature of some weak crypto projects. By this, Shibetoshi found himself in a corner.

In another tweet, he attempted a comeback to clear the air on how he used the proceeds from his Dogecoin stash. He said he cashed out his DOGE coins back in 2015 just to pay rent. He didn’t buy a Honda Civic with the proceeds. Whether the community will be satisfied by this assertion remains to be seen.
