DeFi protocol Elixir has raised $7.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Hack VC, bringing the startup’s valuation to $100 million. Other participants in the round include NGC Ventures, AngelList Ventures, Bloccelerate, and angel investors from Ledger Prime, Genesis Trading, and Hudson River Trading. Elixir aims to improve liquidity across decentralized order book exchanges by allowing users to supply liquidity directly to pairs on these exchanges and earn maker rewards. The funding will be used to expand the team and accelerate the development of the protocol’s infrastructure. The mainnet launch of Elixir’s delegated proof-of-stake protocol is expected in the coming weeks.
