Codex, Nomos, and Waku have today come together under the identity Logos to deliver a private tech stack to revitalize civil society.
The three teams have, over the years, built essential pieces of decentralised technology with separate identities, communities, and product roadmaps. However, they all shared the same goal of creating a social movement and a decentralized technology stack to revitalise civil society.
By coming together under one name, the teams are taking the next bold step toward growing their vision, allowing them to grow and integrate. While they existed separately, working together was challenging as each team offered something different.
Codex built censorship-resistant, durable storage; Nomos created a private Layer 1 for sovereign, resilient coordination; and Waku delivered privacy-preserving, peer-to-peer messaging at scale.
 
Under Logos, the three have now formed one clear, integrated technology stack for building a free and open internet. The Logos ecosystem provides developers with a modular, plugin-based runtime for building decentralised applications.
Developers can now leverage whichever tools best suit their needs and be confident that they are private by default. Speaking on the unification of the Logos technology stack, Jarrad Hope, Co-Founder of Logos, said:

In the future, Logos plans to ship a “batteries-included” toolset with broad public accessibility on day one, a high-quality developer experience and clear documentation, early native applications built for real use-cases, and liquidity pathways and distribution channels that reach non‑specialists.
This will allow anyone to build and operate sovereign digital infrastructure from the ground up to deliver a functional, privacy-preserving network people can use immediately, with a public testnet planned for 2026 and mainnet in 2027.
