Official sources confirm the U.S. Department of Commerce has partnered with Chainlink to publish select government macroeconomic data on-chain. The arrangement will deliver authenticated, tamper-resistant feeds that integrate traditional economic reporting with blockchain infrastructures while adhering to institutional data governance standards.

The newly deployed Chainlink data feeds are scheduled to provide standardized on-chain access to core U.S. indicators, including Real Gross Domestic Product (Real GDP), the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index, and Real Final Sales to Private Domestic Purchasers, sourced directly from official releases and distributed via the Chainlink oracle network.

Making these government-sourced series available on-chain is intended to improve data provenance and support enhanced transparency and auditability for market participants, analytics teams, and decentralized finance use cases that rely on verified macroeconomic inputs.
