According to recent reports, the developers of Call of Duty are gearing up to launch a brand new game called Kaidro on the ImmutableX blockchain later this year.
For more than ten years, Peggy Chung and Robert Simons, the co-founders of Gadget-Bot, have been developing Kaidro, a vast sci-fi universe. Their latest endeavor involves bringing the game onto the Web3 network, transforming it into a PC role-playing game (RPG) on the Ethereum scaling network.
In the universe of “Kaidro,” players will find themselves on a post-apocalyptic planet where powerful magicians and mech-wielders engage in fierce battles. The game will offer a thrilling mix of PvP, PvE, and questing, with three teams of three players competing to complete goals on various maps while simultaneously fending off opposing teams.
Kaidro Game Set to Revolutionize the Gaming Industry
As stated by Simons, the highly anticipated Kaidro game is poised to revolutionize the gaming industry with its unique approach to character ownership. In this game, each non-fungible token (NFT) will provide players exclusive access to a playable character from a particular clan, including everything from mechs and pilots to spirit guardians.
The development team behind Kaidro has confirmed that although the game is currently available on PC only, players can eventually access it on their smartphones. In addition, players will have the option to obtain specific characters within the game.
According to reports, the Kaidro team has also announced that a free-to-play version of the game will be available for those who wish to test it out before investing in Kaidro NFTs.
The team previously utilized Kickstarter to secure funding for the development of Kaidro. It raised thousands of dollars to produce a series of physical graphic novels based on the original Webtoons comics. The comics have already amassed over 1.6 million views and received an impressive 9.6-star rating.
