Microstrategy, one of the largest institutional investors in Bitcoin, announced in its latest filing with the SEC that it purchased another 5,445 Bitcoin.
The company paid $147.3 million for its last purchase, at an average price of $27,053 per BTC.
With the latest purchase, the number of BTC held by Microstrategy increased to 158,245, while the company’s overall BTC cost was $ 29,582.
MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor said in his statement on Twitter:
“MicroStrategy purchased an additional 5,445 BTC for ~$147.3 million at an average price of $27,053 per Bitcoin.
As of 24.09.2023, MicroStrategy had 158,245 BTC in its possession, while the average price per Bitcoin was 29,582 dollars.”
