Bored Ape Yacht Club recently tweeted about the increasing number of scammers in the Dookey Dash game. The BAYC team addressed its users saying that they won’t allow cheating and want Dookey Dash to be as fair as possible.
The BAYC team also stated that they discovered some Dookey Dash Sewer Passes that were linked to cheating. Moreover, they announced that the scores of the passes associated with cheating have also been removed from the leaderboard.
The official Twitter account of BAYC also mentioned that if anybody whose score is removed wants a legitimate score to be logged, they have to get it done before it is locked at 3 p.m. PST on February 9.
The team also reminded everyone that once the leaderboard is locked, the sewer passes will be validated, and cheaters will be unable to replay Dookey Dash or log a new score.
If you are delegating passes, do your due diligence.” Make sure the person you’re working with is playing fairly.
The BAYC team also urged the users to get their passes back and log a new score if they were concerned about how the delegated passes had been used.
Dookey Dash is a skill-based NFT mint from the Bored Ape Yacht Club team. The game is more like an endless running game similar to classics like Temple Run. The game has been gaining much attention and getting players lined up since the announcement. The rewards and prizes for the winners have not been announced as of now. The game began on January 18 and will run until February 8.
