The BNB Chain has released its weekly ecosystem report, detailing key metrics and developments from December 4 to 10, 2025. As part of its ongoing effort to maintain transparency and community engagement, the report highlights significant progress across various segments including DeFi, AI, and decentralized social networks.
BNB Chain Key Data Highlights
According to the report, BNB Chain’s Binance Smart Chain (BSC) reported an average of 2,442,565 daily active users (DAU), while opBNB recorded 1,698,500 DAU during the specified week. In terms of transactions, BSC facilitated 100,221,954 transactions, whereas opBNB managed 22,396,495 transactions. The total trading volume across the ecosystem reached $33.2 billion, with the total value locked (TVL) standing at $11 billion as of December 10.
Ecosystem Updates
During the Binance Blockchain Week, BNB Chain’s booth attracted numerous community members and partners, including PancakeSwap and Venus, fostering discussions and offering exclusive merchandise. Additionally, the BNB Hack event in Abu Dhabi witnessed participation from over 44 builder teams focusing on DeFi, AI, and other blockchain applications.
BNB Chain also introduced an upgraded Telegram support bot to enhance community interaction, with plans for Discord integration. The 0 Fee Carnival for USD1 and USDC transfers has been extended until December 31, allowing free transactions on supported platforms like Trust Wallet and Binance Web3 Wallet.
Developers are advised to transition from BSCScan to BSCTrace APIs via MegaNode due to the deprecation of BSCScan API support. Furthermore, the Block Access List (BAL) is now live on BSC, promising reduced execution latency and improved processing speed.
Node operators are encouraged to migrate from Erigon to Reth or Geth by December 31 to ensure seamless operation. Meanwhile, the community is invited to vote on the BEP-341 proposal aimed at reducing TurnLength from 16 to 8, which is expected to enhance network stability.
