BlockTower Capital Sells UNI and LINK Tokens, Faces $2.94 Million Loss Amid DeFi Strategy Shift

According to recent data from Spot On Chain, BlockTower Capital has executed a significant transaction involving $16.78 million in DeFi tokens on Binance within the last nine hours. This move has resulted in a potential net loss of around $2.94 million. The portfolio, which comprises several prominent cryptocurrencies, includes 532,754 UNI tokens valued at $5.33 million, generating a profit of $579,000 or +12%. In contrast, 197,451 LINK tokens, amounting to $4.29 million, experienced a loss of $426,500 (-9%). Additionally, 3,862 MKR tokens worth $3.77 million and 5.153 million ENA tokens totaling $3.39 million faced greater losses of $1.70 million (-31%) and $1.39 million (-29%), respectively. Overall, the asset management firm maintains holdings valued at approximately $21.7 million, which includes 20,314 AAVE tokens ($5.47 million) and 1,713 ETH ($4.84 million).
