BlockSec, a blockchain and Web3 security firm, announced the release of Phalcon Fork, a toolkit enabling Web3 users to conduct collaborative testing on private chains forked from any position. With this toolkit, users can test and ensure the security of their private chains with the help of a collaborative testing approach.
🚀 We’re thrilled to introduce Phalcon Fork, a cutting-edge toolkit for Web3 developers & security researchers! It enables collaborative testing with private mainnet states, creating private chains forked from any mainnet position. #Web3 #DeFi pic.twitter.com/TlK169GeLP

Phalcon Fork is a development designed to provide advanced control to Web3 users working on test nets. It enables users to quickly analyze, transact, and debug by forking arbitrary positions and block numbers while retaining specific services and states from the Ethereum (ETH) mainnet. This feature gives developers greater control and facilitates rapid integration and debugging with other DeFi contracts.
The tool kit offers several advantages over traditional designs. Firstly, blockchain users can access services and attain states from the mainnet. This allows for a seamless and efficient user experience. Additionally, users have complete control over block information, ensuring their data is secure and private.
BlockSec Plans Multi-Blockchain Support
Phalcon Fork also enables users to utilize snapshots, which record the transactions being executed and deployed by the user at a given time. This feature is particularly useful during testing, allowing users to save certain blockchain positions and revert to them at will.
Currently, it is impossible to fork from any other Ethereum network. However, BlockSec has hinted at future support for BNB Smart Chain and Arbitrum. This allows developers to test their DeFi contracts on multiple blockchains.
On April 12, the Ethereum Shanghai update was released, and alongside it came the release of the Phalcon Fork toolset. This toolset enables token holders on the Beacon Chain to withdraw their staked Ethereum.
These developments offer exciting opportunities for developers and token holders as they expand the possibilities of testing and accessing Ethereum-based resources.
