COINOTAG News, citing official sources, reports that Bitget will contribute HK$12 million to support the Wang Tau Hom Fire relief effort in Hong Kong. The pledge is earmarked for three reputable local charities to fund emergency rescue, assistance to affected families, and post-disaster reconstruction.
The majority share, HK$5 million, will go to Hong Kong Yee Wo Yee Hospital to reinforce emergency medical support, cover treatment costs for the injured, and provide necessary health and rehabilitation services to impacted residents.
Another HK$3.5 million is allocated to The Salvation Army Hong Kong and Macau Command to deliver economic assistance, temporary shelter, essential living supplies, and post-disaster reconstruction-related services to help families resume daily life promptly.
The final HK$3.5 million will support the Hong Kong Kowloon City District Women’s Welfare Association Limited for community outreach, psychological counseling, family aid, and ongoing social work after the fire to assist residents through the transition.
