WalletConnect (WCT), the new Launchpool project of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, was recently listed following the airdrop process.
The WCT price opened at around $0.4 and has a market cap of $69 million at the time of writing. However, the price has dropped since the opening and is currently trading around $0.35.
In our previous news, we evaluated the estimated opening price of WCT and pointed to around $0.4. On the other hand, users who staked 1,000 USDC earned an average of $0.67 worth of WCT in the WCT Launchpool event.
WCT stands out for its operation on the Ethereum layer 2 network Optimism.
The previous Launchpool project, GUNZ (GUN), had an average return of $2.2 per 1,000 FDUSD. On the other hand, the GUN price has suffered a significant loss after the launch, falling by nearly 50%. At the time of writing, the total market value of GUN is $33.33 million.
