Global-e’s official statement outlined the incident timeline. The company detected unusual activity on its networks recently. Their security team identified irregularities in cloud systems and acted immediately.

“…We took immediate action to contain and ultimately secure our systems,” Global-e’s notification stated.

The payment processor engaged independent forensic experts to investigate the breach.
