Amazon Prime Gaming and WAX Partner to Bring Web3 Games to Global Audience

Within the partnership with WAX, Amazon Prime Gaming users will get access to the Brawlers game and exclusive in-game items, enriching their Brawlerverse experience even further with real-world merchandise from the partners of the game, including Tyranno Studios.

Prime Gaming, a gaming hub developed by Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ: AMZN) and included with Amazon Prime and Prime Video memberships, has partnered with Worldwide Asset Exchange (WAX), a decentralized marketplace for the exchange of video game virtual assets. The goal of the partnerships is to bring an enormous user base of Amazon Prime Gaming to the world of Web3 games powered by WAX. The first game for collaborative experiments is Brawlers.

Brawlers is a flagship game developed by WAX Studios and the first wrestling-themed NFT game on the blockchain technology platform. It allows NFT wrestlers to fight with each other in brawls, with the winner earning the reward. Players can engage with a diverse cast of charismatic characters, from the agile Iron Pole and fierce Crocodile Dundalk to the unstoppable Juggernaut. Notably, the game has its own game token Brawlers (BRWL) that can be used by players to fight in the matches against other wrestlers. The game also allows players to purchase card packs and use them to play games with others while retaining full ownership and control of their assets for trading or exchanging purposes.

Within the partnership with WAX, Amazon Prime Gaming users will get access to exclusive in-game items, enriching their Brawlerverse experience even further with real-world merchandise from the partners of the game, including Tyranno Studios. In addition, those who link their Amazon Prime account with Brawlers will receive physical prizes each month.

The WAX team commented:

“Amazon Prime Gaming’s collaboration with WAX is not a mere partnership. It’s a testament to their commitment to advancing gaming experiences and constantly embracing technological evolution. Amazon Prime Gaming is the unquestioned leader in connecting players with improved customer experiences across all games that take part in this program.”

The Brawlers game is already listed on Amazon Prime Gaming. The game offers a starting pack that includes a collection of 8 deck cards, each with a unique Halloween theme, Mike Yellerbelly Artifact Brawler, a special themed card back, and such distinctive moves as a common attack, a taunt, and a finishing move.
