A Metaverse for Creating Wealth by Staying Healthy (Limoverse Founder Interview)

The world is going digital, but that’s not necessarily all tied to excessive benefits. As people spend more time in front of computers and smartphones, their health suffers. Tackling this issue is undoubtedly a challenge, especially when it come to creating a fully-fledged metaverse where users can interact and engage with each other digitally.

Limoverse is a project that harnesses the power of blockchain-based technology and promotes health, and even empowers people to remain healthy while also earning in the process.

Talking about how this is possible and what the team’s plans are is Sajeev Nair, founder of Limoverse.

Can you tell us a bit more about yourself and how your journey into the world of cryptocurrency started? 

Over the last two decades, I have ventured into multiple businesses in multiple domains. However, my passion has always been health & wellness and human performance. For the last 5 to 6 years, I have been passionate about human longevity as I was approaching the end of my first 50 years of life, and I wanted to make the post-50 more productive and enthusiastic than my pre-50. Through extensive research, I could conclude that personalized health is the next billion-dollar opportunity and spearheaded a concept called EPLIMO, a personalized health process done with the help of a geno-metabolic analysis.

We saw an opportunity to bring the health and wellness professionals and institutions who believe in preventive health through personalized lifestyle management, which led to Limoverse, a health and wellness ecosystem using blockchain technology.

More than just cryptocurrencies, I got excited about blockchain technology and the vast possibilities currently prevailing around web3. And as a result of this, I initiated this project called LIMOVERSE, which will be a completely decentralized wellness economy built on web3 and powered by our utility token called LIMO.

You’re the founder of Limoverse – can you please explain the project in Layman’s terms? 

LIMOVERSE will be the ultimate health & wellness ecosystem, which will reward you for staying healthy using our utility token called LIMO. It will be a destination where health & wellness seekers and providers come together and share their services and knowledge for which they get rewarded. There are multiple projects inside LIMOVERSE. So whether you are a health & wellness practitioner or a seeker, you have space in LIMOVERSE to become wealthy by staying healthy.

Following are the projects inside LIMOVERSE:

1. HEALTHFi – Walk, jog or run and earn your rewards daily.
2. WHEALTHFi – Be part of our personalized wellness program, EPLIMO (Epigenetic Lifestyle Modification), and earn for maintaining your health.
3. CREATFi – Create and share your valuable content and get rewarded in LIMOs.
4. GAMEFi – Create your avatar, play and win the games inside LIMOVERSE, and get rewarded in LIMOs.

How does a digital world incentivize physical activity and health? 

In the present world, the challenge that most people face when it comes to staying fit and healthy is mainly the motivation to exercise regularly, follow a specific diet plan, etc. How would it be if people got rewarded for doing this? This is precisely what we do at LIMOVERSE, majorly through our HEALTHFi and WHEALTHFi projects. For walking, jogging, or running and following the personalized recommendation plan that people get through EPLIMO, users will be rewarded with our LIMO tokens daily, which could accumulate and become an enormous wealth over a certain period of time. Hence in LIMOVERSE, we not only focus on digital activities like playing games and being part of the metaverse but also ensure that the people do activities in the real world and stay fit and healthy.

What is the most important problem that you are trying to solve with Limoverse? 

The problems in the health and wellness domain that we are addressing are:

1. Life expectancy is increasing, and so are lifestyle diseases. People are living short and dying early. This should change, and people should be able to live long, die late, and stay young.
2. Healthcare costs are high, so people should be able to get solutions where they can practice self-care in their life.
3. Tough to stay motivated by following a diet and fitness plan. Limoverse will resolve this since people will be rewarded for staying fit and healthy.
4. Wellness is unorganized as different protocols sometimes contradict. Limoverse, being a joint health & wellness ecosystem for all the health seekers and providers, will allow people to avail almost all the health & wellness products and services in the Limoverse ecosystem.

What’s the purpose of the LIMO token?

With Limoverse being an ecosystem where there are health and wellness practitioners, institutions, and seekers, the process of availing and providing products and services using LIMOs will be active. This is one primary use for LIMOs inside Limoverse.

Above all, since Limoverse has multiple projects, users will have to use LIMOs to enter the projects, and they will also be getting their rewards in LIMOs.

Hence we can confidently say that the use cases of LIMO tokens are very strong and can attract the attention of a wide range of audiences across the globe. Our goal is to build a wellness economy powered by the LIMO tokens.

How will Limoverse take part in the growing Web 3 movement?

Web3 being a completely decentralized system, Limoverse aims to become a platform where the decision-makers and the participants are the community members themselves. Therefore, we will have a robust governance system consisting of community members.

Where do you see Limoverse in 5 years? 

We strongly believe that within the next five years, Limoverse has the potential to become the world’s largest health and wellness ecosystem. Limoverse could be a one-stop solution for people’s needs to stay healthy, fit, and happy. People can sit in the comfort of their homes, participate in the projects in our ecosystem, and play games inside Limoverse. By doing all this, they have the possibility to get wealthy as well.

What’s the thing that you are mostly looking forward to in the next, let’s say, 6 months?

The main short-term objective at Limoverse is to launch all the projects meeting the promised timelines. Except for GAMEFi and METAFi, we aim to launch the remaining projects within the next six months. Also, in this period, we aim to expand across the globe and attract a maximum number of people, mainly health and wellness enthusiasts, to our community.
