Everydays: The First 5000 Days were sold for $69.3 Million (38525 ETH) at Christie’s auction house in March 2021. The sale played a key role in bringing the NFT term into the household world.

The second name in the list is Human One by Beeple. The NFT was sold in November 2021 for $28.9 Million (4700 ETH) and bought by Ryan Zurrer. It is one of the unique and continuously-evolving masterpieces. 

Clock by Pak is another most expensive name in the list, that tracks the number of days Assange lived in the prison. The NFT was sold for $52.7 Million (16593ETH) by AssangeDAO in November 2021. The mission behind the NFT purchase is to fight for the Wikileaks founder.

TPunk 3442 by TPunks is another addition to the list of the most expensive NFTs in the landscape. The NFT was sold at the price of $10.5 Million (120 Million TRX) in August 2021 by Justin Sun. The NFT is completely inspired by CryptoPunks. 

Focusing on the collection of CryptoPunks, 5822, 7523, 4156, 5577, 3100, and 7804 are some top items on the list. All these items were introduced by Larva Labs and are sold at different prices. It is a collection of 10,000 pixelated characters that make it unique to the NFT landscape.

CryptoPunk 5822 was created in 2017 and is sold for $23.7 Million (8000 ETH) in February 2022. Similarly, Cryptopunks 7523, 4156, 5577, 3100, and 7804 were sold for $11.7 Million (4700 ETH), $10.2 Million (2500 ETH), $7.7 Million (2501 ETH), $7.57 Million (4200 ETH) and $7.56 Million (4200 ETH), respectively.  

With the advancement in Web3, the NFT landscape is expected to grow and update in the near future and is expected to hold even bigger NFT sales.         

Current State of NFT landscape 

The NFT industry generated $24.7 Billion in sales in 2022, representing the speed growth of the sector worldwide, surpassing traditional sales to $67.8 Billion in the same year. Approximately 12,000 NFT sales take place everyday with around 6,000 unique purchases. In addition, the market is assumed to hit $80 Billion by 2025.
