Sensorium Galaxy, a Swiss-based metaverse developer, is pleased to announce that the Sensorium Galaxy metaverse has entered the long-awaited virtual reality multiplayer public playtest.
According to the Sensorium team, this public playtest will allow users to explore the new fully-fledged metaverse, Prism. Prism is a virtual world dedicated to music where users experience the 24/7 galactic Sensorium Party. The Sensorium’s pioneering AI avatars perform at the party, offering unparalleled entertainment.
Prism was developed in collaboration with Yann Pissenem, the founder of Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza. Prism is already a confirmed destination for shows and has acclaimed world-class performers such s Carl Cox, David Guetta, and Black Coffee. Prism will host the first three performances during the first half of 2023, while the second half will see the release of Motion, which will introduce users to more ‘virtual life’ mechanisms of the Sensorium Galaxy.
This public playtest will open access to more VR and content features inside virtual worlds while laying out a new metaverse doctrine. This will familiarise users with metaverse VR mechanisms, avatar customization options and an immersive environment. The public playtest will also allow users to interact with others in VR for the first time, both human participants and AI virtual beings.
Founded in 2018, Sensorium Galaxy has emerged as the first AAA-inhabited metaverse created with a community of AI-powered avatars. Sensorium Galaxy is the only global XR multiplayer platform designed to immerse users into multisensory experiences in virtual worlds. Sensorium’s press secretary, the AI-driven avatar, offers users a detailed outlook on the company’s global metaverse doctrine.

Sensorium is built on Unreal Engine, advanced VR and AI technologies allowing it to unfold across several virtual worlds, each dedicated to different types of entertainment.
Just recently, Sensorium unveiled the Salvador Dali Experience to demonstrate the groundbreaking capabilities of generative AI technology to hold contextual conversations. Notably, in this VR space, users can meet the AI avatar of the late genius Salvador Dali and chat with Dali’s virtual being on various topics. Sensorium’s innovation allows users to attain digital immortality to enable future generations to interact with their virtual beings.
In addition to the public playtest, Sensorium has scheduled NFT drops for later in the year, including Under land tokens and DAPP avatars. These NFTs will be used in Sensorium’s decentralized platform. Under and Starship will become the first virtual environments to leverage Web3 capacities within the Sensorium ecosystem.
