Metadolls Announced Its First NFT Tattoo Shop

A tattoo shop for NFTs? Meet Metadolls the project that brings art, dolls, tattoos and NFTs together

Tattoos have been around for thousands of years, but what will happen to them now that the metaverse has arrived?

A Transcendent Creative and Utility Concept

Alejandro Rincón is a colombian plastic artist, his passion for poems, art, tattoos and human expression led him to think of an idea with transformative power.

Dolls are mass-created objects, through them stereotypes of beauty have been imposed on female as well as male bodies.

To transform that vision, Rincón began to intervene on the dolls with piercings, tattoos, hair changes and hairstyles, with this he wanted to give each of them a unique identity.

Physical Version of NFTs and Passive Income

The project’s roadmap begins with a first collection of 7,000 3D hyper realistic dolls, with benefits such as IRL events, physical versions of NFT, among other utilities.

Holders will be able to get a physical version of their NFT

MetaDolls will create the first NFT Tattoo Shop, where users can bring their NFT PFPs and give them tattoos as derivative NFTs.

MetaDolls’ Holders will receive passive income out of the derivatives service in the Tattoo Shop.

Holders will receive airdrops for MetaJewelry and MetaPets.

Great Idea that Continues to Grow After 7 Years

Its message and purpose grew up for seven years, from that idea came Metadolls, a project that seeks to bring tattoos to NFTs and in the future be part of users’ avatars.

However, while each of the points on the roadmap becomes a reality, Alejandro, along with Camilo Sardi and Juan Esteban Sierra, co-founders of Metadolls, work with another team of between 14 and 16 people to provide the community with hybrid experiences related to tattooing and art.

One of the missions of Metadolls is to promote art and freedom, for this it uses various community building actions, a couple of days ago it launched a playlist on spotify where Metadolls followers can collaborate by adding their favorite songs, in addition to IRL events will be announced shortly.

In addition, every week there are different spaces on Twitter with topics varying from Dad Jokes to Sex, Drugs and Tattoos. where the community gathers togethers and connects to each other.
