Atari Joins hands With Pixels.com to Deliver Physical NFT Artworks

A present for NFT lovers?

Counted among the pioneers in the gaming industry, Atari, has collaborated with Pixels.com for print-on-demand NFT artwork to deliver its physical products globally.

Atari, a major American video game company, will now enable digital artwork collection holders, Atari NFT, to own physical pieces of artworks in the form of posters, framed prints and other print-on-demand products.

Atari, is the creator of several popular games such as Space Invaders, Commando, Double Dragon, Pong, Asteroids. The company celebrated its 50th founding year in September this year. In order to honor the historical Atari 2600 game console, the gaming firm has launched a collection of 2,600 NFT conveying the beautiful journey of their most popular games.

On OpenSea, the genesis collections of the unique 2,600 fine art NFTs were designed by Brazilian pop culture artist, Butcher Billy on Atari’s Golden anniversary. The most expensive NFTs include the Haunted House priced at 110 ETH, Missile Commando priced at 97 ETH, and Breakout priced at 85 ETH. 

According to a press release, AtariPrints.com partnered with Pixels.com, which is among the world’s largest print-on-demand technology organizations and online marketplace for artists. Pixels.com will help the gaming company recreate the digital artwork into multiple pieces of physical products easily. 

Pixels will ship these physical NFT products through its network of 16 manufacturing hubs, such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Boxtel, Sydney, Denver among other locations.

Setting an Example

Atari NFT holders who wish to get their physical version of artworks, need to link their Ethereum wallets to AtariPrints.com. The customers can also change the respective artworks into posters and framed prints. The digital artworks are also available in 5 different sizes, from 10” x  12” up to 32” x 40”, with the option to modify each for various frame types and mat photographs. 

CEO of Fine Arts America, Sean Broihier, stated that, “There’s no easier way to transform your NFT business into a physical art business.”

We’ve built print-on-demand solutions for millions of independent artists and global brands, and we’re very excited to partner with Atari to show the NFT community what’s possible when you allow NFT holders to transform digital assets into physical products,” he added.

According to the Wall Street journal, Republic Realm, who touts itself as “a leader in metaverse and NFT innovation and investment,” has purchased a $4.3 million virtual land in The Sandbox from Atari in November, setting a new record in metaverse property sale till date.
