Gwyneth Paltrow this week announced she’ll open her (guest) home to visitors who wish to stay in the one-bedroom house in Montecito nestled behind her mansion—complete with the offer of a “fantastic, cozy dinner” and a bathroom stocked with products from her lifestyle brand Goop—adding to a roster of famous real estate offerings that come with much more than just a place to sleep.
Key Facts
In an Instagram post Tuesday, Paltrow gave fans a tour of her “beautiful little” guest house that includes a bar, wood-burning fireplace, soaking tub and pool, which she’s listed on Airbnb for one night only.
The stay will come with a chef’s dinner with the star and her husband, TV writer Brad Falchuk, in a private wine room on the property, Paltrow said in the video, which also featured an appearance by Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky.
Potential guests can try to book the free stay when it opens on August 15 at 10 a.m. PT—the stay is for two people only on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Paltrow bought the home for $5 million in 2016 and did extensive renovations on the property to build their 14,000-square-foot mansion and the surrounding estate, according to Page Six.
The actress gave Architectural Digest a tour last year, and the magazine described the house as “designed to nurture mind, body, and soul.”
