XRP’s on-chain momentum is heating up again. On July 18, XRP Ledger recorded more than $1.4 billion in inter-account transfers—the largest daily volume since February—according to XRPSCAN data.
The day saw nearly 1.5 billion XRP move across accounts, with transaction counts also pushing upward to 1.4 million.
This uptick comes as XRP inches closer to its 2018 peak of $3.84, fueled by renewed interest across the crypto market.
The spike in ledger activity may signal growing investor confidence in the asset’s long-term potential.
Adding to market speculation, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen reportedly transferred $26 million in XRP to Coinbase on the same day prices hit a seven-month high.
Though the intent behind the move remains unconfirmed, large exchange transfers are often interpreted as possible sell-side activity.
