James K. Filan, fellow lawyer of John Deaton, tweeted that he will soon recover his Twitter account within days following the cyberattack after falling victim to it.He is the managing partner of Deaton Law firm and is the XRP advocate.

John will give further details on the matter by going live stream on Tuesday on the CryptoLaw channel. Meanwhile, he alerted the followers to stay away from his twitter account.
False Promotion of LAW through Hacked Account
Being a famous crypto lawyer, Deaton has an immense effect on the cryptocurrency community. Hackers took advantage of his image and falsely promoted a digital token named “LAW”, reportedly connected with CryptoLaw.
The cryptocurrency lawyer advises the clients on various legal issues related with cryptocurrencies. Hence, the fake promotion of digital assets from the renowned lawyers account caused severe effects in the crypto community.
The hackers influenced the LAW token fakely by presenting it as an innovative development in the DeFi space, with a unique focus on the regulatory environment of cryptocurrencies. This clearly highlights that LAW was an official product of CryptoLaw. They further anticipate the followers to take the token with an associated link of the website.
CryptoLaw Contradicts the News of Digital Token LAW
CryptoLaw contradicted the fake news making it clear that the lawyer’s account had been hacked and the tweet about LAW is totally false and ignorant. The organization urged followers and users to stay alert with potential hijacking of accounts.
The incident acts as an alert to the cryptocurrency community with risks associated with cybersecurity. Mostly, it highlights the hacking of accounts in this digital age. The accounts of famous personalities are always on point due to their influence in the community.
Usually, an unexpected tweet from the account should be taken as a sign that it is attacked by hackers. Their main aim is to gain control over accounts to manipulate the scams and false promotions leading to frauds and losses. They target the prominent verified accounts.
After the relentless cyberattacks of several days, John Deaton finally assures to gain the control of his account soon, but until further notice he wants everyone to maintain distance from his account, as tweeted by his co-lawyer James K Filan.
