Gunther defeated LA Knight at WWE SmackDown in the finals of John Cena’s Last Time is Now Tournament.

WWE Raw on Netflix, which recently acquired Warner Bros. Discovery (for now), featured Gunther’s first appearance since winning the John Cena Last Time is Now tournament. Gunther submitted LA Knight this past Friday on SmackDown. There’s no rest for the weary as Gunther will face Cena in Cena’s final match this Saturday, December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C. Cena was ubiquitous during a high-profile press tour last week with appearances ranging from Jimmy Kimmel, to Joe Rogan to Bill Simmons. The hype for Cena’s last match has sparked rumors of otherwise unlikely appearances by Vince McMahon and President Donald Trump.
Raw also teased what’s next for Stephanie Vaquer. Judging by her backstage exchange from last week, many presume it’ll be Liv Morgan. WWE world tag team champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee requested a title match with the War Raiders, and they’re going to get it. And as the women’s tag team division continues its descent into madness, Lyre Valkyria will face Roxanne Perez.
Viewership for the November 24, 2025 Raw is unavailable a the broadcast failed to crack the Netflix Top 10 for the first time amid a busy holiday week and near-monoculture moment when the streamer dropped Stranger Things. The final season of the popular show opened with almost 60 million viewers, the biggest-ever for an English-language TV show.
As speculation of a Chris Jericho return continues to grow, WWE posted a classic moment of Jericho’s introduction of John Cena as a Raw draft pick back in 2005. Jericho’s contract is reportedly up in 2026, and some feel he may be the hooded figure who cost the babyfaces the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025.
