World’s first playable AAA Web3 game closes $4M funding round

Delysium, the first playable AAA Web3 MMO game in the world, completed its first round of private-sale of over $4 million, Invezz learned from a press release first published on Chainwire.

The round was led by big-name investors like Republic Crypto, Galaxy Interactive, and Alameda Research. Eureka Meta Capital, Y2Z Ventures, Anthos Capital, Tess Ventures, Infinity Ventures Crypto, Zonff Partners, Lucid Blue Ventures, and other institutions took part.

Delysium is under accelerated development and is expected to go live by the middle of this year. The funds raised will be invested mainly in the ecosystem and game production. Delysium plans to launch its Alpha & Beta version with a PVP tournament in the middle of this year.

What is Delysium?

The game is set in 2045, when humans discover a marvellous land in the metaverse and name it “Delysium.” This starts a battle between the real and the virtual world. The game features cyberpunk style, UGC, open-world, and MMORPG, offering vast options for gameplay.

How to play  

By joining different modes, players can earn tokens, NFTs, and other assets and sell them in the marketplace. They can also consume them to upgrade weapons, characters, or equipment with higher numerical values in PVE modes. Creating buildings and weapons is also an option.

Players can create their own dialogue and behaviour models, storylines, narrative assets, decision-making models, missions, and other personalized entertainment scenarios.

The game emphasizes supreme, diversified 3A open-world MMORPG experiences, including exploration, battle, cultivation, construction, social and AI-driven MetaBeing gameplays, pushing the web3 gaming industry into the next phase of development.
