You know what they say: Wednesday is for Wordles. Well, I suppose every day is for Wordles, but Wednesday most of all. Because alliteration is fun. Wednesday warriors work to woo one another with wonderful Wordles.
Yep, I’m in need of more caffeine it seems. Time to re-up the coffee. I admit, I’m a bit beat from many days on the road, road-tripping with my kids through Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. Through desert and forest and plain and mountain range. Through tiny towns and vast, concrete cities. From hotel to lodge to AirBnB.
And each day, another Wordle to slake my thirst for puzzles. Let’s take a look at today’s, shall we? It’s a bit easier than yesterday’s word!
Today’s Wordle #410 Hint & Answer
Yep, there are spoilers in this post. You’ve been warned.
The hint: Something wasted on children.
The answer:
Well my first guess was a bust, leaving me with a whopping 372 choices. Then again, crane wouldn’t have been any better. Both words eliminate A, E, and R. The final answer doesn’t include any letters from either word—and both open us up for a good second guess to narrow things down further.
Tours did just that, bringing my possible solutions down to just 6. Wordle Bot wants me to believe that hoist would have been better, and chocks my outcome up to luck, but in this instance tours is by far the better word, giving me OU in green, with a yellow T.
That yellow T was crucial. Without the T I could have guessed a ‘CH’ word in guess 3, but instead I went with mouth and narrowed my choices down to just one: Youth.
Youth is wasted on the young, as they say. We realize this—in a slow dawning sort of way—all our lives.
Be well, young padawans. See you tomorrow.
