Wordle Today #394 Hint And Answer: Monday, July 18th

Well the weekend is over and Monday is here. Another week lays ahead as we enter the second half of July and summer’s dead enter.

Wordle continues to capture the hearts and minds of people all over the globe and The New York Times seems determined to continue to expand its influence. The newspaper has teamed up with Hasbro to release a board game version, which could be fun.

In any case, let’s take a look at today’s Wordle word of the day. It’s a good one!

And the answer is . . . .

This is one of those tricky words that has a lot of possibilities. I just got super lucky with my second guess, clock, which got me four green boxes super fast. If I hadn’t gotten to lock that quickly I might have been in trouble.

Score was a decent first guess simply because getting that ‘O’ in green off the bat led directly to my second guess. From here it was just a guessing game, really. It could have been block just as easily as flock but oh well. I got to flock in the end.
