Wordle Today #382 Word Of The Day Hint And Answer — Wednesday July 6th

Wordle, Wordle, Wordle.

Here we are for another and it is, if I do say so myself, a bit of a doozy.

July is kicking off as a pretty great month compared to June so far, though I suppose it’s all a matter of perspective. We’ve had a lot of fun Wordle words of the day, though, so that’s fun. Wordle remains not only a great diversion, but a wonderful force for unity. We all play the same word each day and we all have the same number of guesses to get the right answer.

In any case, let’s take a look at today’s word, shall we?

Today’s Wordle #382 Hint & Answer

Spoilers ahead! You’ve been warned!

But first, a hint: The opposite of a hard-hitting piece of journalism.

And the answer is . . . .

This ended up being a pretty tough word, actually. It might even be the first Wordle I’ve seen with three of the same letter (though there have been double pairs in the past, like vivid).

My first guess, blame, was good only in the sense that it got me a green ‘L’ and eliminated a couple vowels. Floor got me the ‘F’ in green and eliminated ‘O.’ This was definitely helpful though it turns out that there are quite a few words that start with flu, including flunk, flush and the final answer: Fluff!
