WWE Raw Winners And Match Card

Kevin Owens Returns; Brawlin’ Brutes def. Judgment Day

Kevin Owens wisely put over Sami Zayn before calling out Roman Reigns, because had he said one cross word about Sami Uso, he would have been booed vociferously.

I didn’t have this on my 2022 bingo card, but The Brawlin’ Brutes are tremendous babyfaces.

The Judgment Day has added a musical cue and pyro to its entrance. Much like Sheamus’ entrance, the pyro is invisible.

After Dominik Mysterio called out his “deadbeat dad” Rey Mysterio, he was showered with chants of “who’s your daddy?”

Dominik Mysterio sold the Brogue Kick fantastically by flipping inside out. The man is slowly becoming a star before our very eyes.

While on commentary, babyface Kevin Owens took his own time getting involved in the post-match brawl.

Omos def. Johnny Gargano

The Miz told Johnny Gargano “you want to wrestle in that ring,” and six months ago that sentence would have never come out of anybody’s mouth, let alone The Mi.z

Omos’ pre-match hoodie is one of the greatest entrance ensembles in all of WWE, and I don’t care who knows it.

I wonder whom Braun Strowman was cheering for in this match between Johnny Gargano and Omos.

Seth Rollins via Satellite

Seth Rollins is supposed to be a babyface, but during this interview he mocked Cody Rhodes’ pec injury and the crowd could be heard audibly gasping. It didn’t mater, fans applauded him by the end of the promo.

Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory vs. Bobby Lashley could easily be match of the night at Survivor Series, WarGames or not. Theory cut another very good backstage promo after this match.

Theory def. Mustafa Ali

I like Muay Thai Mustafa, although his change to Muay Thai shorts has had little-to-no effect on his win-loss record.

Ali, who was wrestling with taped ribs, did a great job selling his ribs throughout. This includes a 450 Splash where Ali sold his ribs by flopping like a fish out of water.

Theory bled the hard way during this match, and Bobby Lashley called him out before the break. After the break, I 100% expected WWE doctors to clean Theory up.

Theory, sans blood, Brawled with Bobby Lashley following this match, and the brawl ended with Theory running away in fear to the backstage era. This left Mustafa Ali to take the beating on his own. Poor Mustafa.

Riddle and Elias def. Alpha Academy

Riddle and Elias have great chemistry in the ring, and Riddle can be Elias’ lifeline during a Triple H Era where he seems to be on the outside looking in.

Riddle’s Floating Bro looked awesome as he slid off of Otis.

Baron Corbin and JBL are slowly morphing into the heel version of APA. Designer clothes and all.

Drew McIntyre def. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin’s theme music is just as unlikable as he is as a heel. This is a good thing.

There was a faint “you can’t wrestle” chant, and Corbin responded by saying “I’m a wrestling god!”

Stealing JBL’s hat has become all the rage in WWE. This time, it was stolen by Akira Tozawa, who bleached his hair, and it led to Baron Corbin’s first loss in the JBL Era of his career.

Rhea Ripley def. Asuka

Fans booed poor Bianca Belair when she said they would reveal their fifth team member Friday on SmackDown.

Ripley spent much of the opining portions of this match stalling, and she received tremendous heat for it.

Rhea Ripley, and her new theme music, won this match as she should have. This means the heels will have the advantage during WarGames, which will make for a better WarGames match.
