The Brawling Brutes def. The Drew Day

Drew McIntyre looked like he was having so much fun telling d—k jokes with The New Day, and they were actually funny jokes.

Similar to how The Acclaimed made The Ass Boys cool, The New Day is having the same effect on Drew McIntyre, who seems like a kid in a candy store because he gets to rub elbows with The Culture.

Drew McIntyre received a custom “Big D” kilt from The New Day

Jinder Mahal def. Humberto

Jinder Mahal won and even teased that he was going to dance with Shanky. If I were Mahal, I’d be begging WWE officials to stay aligned with Shanky to ride his charisma to a career renaissance.

Shanky continues to steal the show with his comedic facial expressions and dance moves. This time, Samantha Irvin joined him.

Natalya Wins Six-Pack Challenge

The future of the WWE women’s division looks bright based on this match alone, too bad WWE can’t find the time to book 2/3rds of these women as the stars they can be.

Has anybody been more hamstrung by Xia Li?

Of all the potentially mouthwatering matchups out of this six pack, Natalya was at the end of that list namely because we’ve seen that match before.

Shotzi locked Aliyah in her dressing room this week, but Aliyah was able to escape just in time for this match. I don’t even want to know what type of match this is going to lead to. Possibly a Forbidden Door match?

Happy Corbin def. Madcap by DQ

Madcap Moss is now known as the more serious Madcap, and not a moment too soon. Madcap made a joke at Happy Corbin’s fedora and it fell flat. He really just needs to let the jokes die permanently.

Madcap was dressed in black trunks and boots like a NJPW young lion, and he messed around and got himself disqualified in his return match. Fans were into seeing Madcap get his revenge, but they seemed more enthusiastic to boo Happy Corbin.

Pat McAfee celebrated SmackDown for finally making it onto the card when Madcap vs. Happy Corbin was announced for Hell in a Cell.

The Usos def. Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura was taken out of this match early on and you knew exactly where it was going.

Riddle was distracted by Roman Reigns’ theme music (thanks to Honorary Uce Sami Zayn), which cost him the match. Clearly he wasn’t reading up on the news that Reigns is now a part-timer.
