Carrie Ann apologized to Danielle if her comments last week hurt her, then she followed up by saying she got chills from this dance. Derek concluded by telling Danielle that she’s someone they all root for, but tonight felt a little disjointed. He did tell her that she should be proud.

Derek continued by telling Elaine that she’s resilient, radiant and remarkable. Meanwhile, Flavor Flav couldn’t believe Elaine was the same person shown being whisked off in a gurney last week, telling her that she didn’t move like someone who was hurt tonight.

Which Couple Will Receive Immunity From The Relay Dances Next Week?

At the start of the show, Ribeiro announced that the couple at the top of the leaderboard after the first round would receive immunity from next week’s relay dances, along with bonus points.

Because Whitney and Mark and Alix and Val were tied with 39 points at the end of Round 1, only one couple could earn immunity. Whitney and Mark had the highest total judges’ points across the season, so they received immunity for next week’s relay dances and two bonus points added to next week’s scores.
