The only trade publication who is forecasting a win for Sinners is Variety, which is projecting $45 million to $50 million in domestic ticket sales for the horror film, and $40 million to $45 million in receipts for A Minecraft Movie. Both Sinners and A Minecraft Movie are Warner Bros. releases.
Through Wednesday, A Minecraft Movie has earned $296.7 million domestically and $273.3 million internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $570 million against a $150 million production budget before prints and advertising costs.
