Formula 1 heads to Budapest this weekend for the Hungarian Grand Prix from August 1-3, with Hungaroring hosting the final round before the series’ annual summer break.
Last weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix saw McLaren’s Oscar Piastri clinch his sixth victory of the season, breaking a bit of a dry spell since his Spanish Grand Prix win in early June.
The Australian put on an impressive show in mixed conditions at Spa-Francorchamps, finishing 3.415 seconds ahead of teammate Lando Norris and 20.185 seconds ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in third, stretching his championship lead to 16 points.

As the series heads to the final race before the summer pause, both Piastri and Norris will be pushing hard to grab a victory and secure the full 25 points on offer as they each chase their maiden drivers’ title and McLaren’s first since 2008.
The Hungaroring is going to be a tough challenge however with its tight and twisty nature making overtaking a bit tricky, with weather also looking to play a factor once again as rain is currently forecast for Sunday.
