Keeper, directed by “Longlegs” and “The Monkey” filmmaker Osgood Perkins, is new in theaters. When will it be available to watch at home?
Rated R, Keeper opened in theaters nationwide on Friday. The official logline for the movie reads, “A romantic anniversary trip to a secluded cabin turns sinister when a dark presence reveals itself, forcing a couple to confront the property’s haunting past.”
Keeper stars Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland as the couple, Liz and Malcolm. Written by Nick Lepard (Dangerous Animals), Keeper also stars Birkett Turton, Eden Weiss, Claire Friesen, Christin Park, Erin Boyes and Tess Degenstein.
Currently, the only way you can see Keeper is in theaters, so check your local listings for showtimes.
When Keeper comes to the home entertainment marketplace, the first place it will be available will be on digital streaming via premium video on demand. Generally, it takes films from Keeper’s studio, NEON, about a month to six weeks from the time its films open in theaters to the time they arrive on PVOD.
For example, Perkins’ hit horror comedy The Monkey opened in theaters on Feb. 21 and arrived on PVOD just under six weeks later on April 4. In addition, Neon’s sci-fi fantasy drama The Life of Chuck opened wide in theaters on June 13 and landed on PVOD about six weeks later on July 29.
More recently, however, Neon’s body horror thriller Together opened in theaters on July 30 and debuted on PVOD just shy of a month later, on Aug. 26.
Should Keeper follow the same release pattern, viewers can expect the film to arrive on SVOD sometime between Dec. 16 and Dec. 30. When the film debuts on PVOD, it will be available on such digital platforms as Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Prime Video and YouTube.
Generally, new film titles released on PVOD generally cost anywhere from $19.99 to $29.99 to purchase or $14.99 to $24.99 to rent for a 48-hour period.

Which Streaming Service Will Get ‘Keeper’ First?
Since Neon has a Pay 1 window deal with Hulu, Keeper will make its streaming video on demand premiere on Hulu, which is a part of the Disney+ platform.
Neon titles typically take anywhere from five and a half months to seven months before they arrive on SVOD on Hulu.
For example, Keeper director Osgood Perkins’ horror thriller Longlegs opened in theaters on July 12, 2024, and didn’t arrive on SVOD on Hulu until just over seven months later, on Feb. 14.
However, Perkins’ The Monkey opened in theaters on Feb. 21 and debuted on SVOD on Hulu on Aug. 7, about five and a half months after the film opened in theaters.
Should Keeper follow the same release pattern, viewers can expect the film to debut on Hulu anytime between April 28, 2026, and June 14, 2026.
