What Time Is The ‘Survivor’ Season 48 Finale—And How Long Will It Last?

After 12 weeks of fierce competition, one castaway will emerge victorious in tonight’s Survivor Season 48 finale. If you’re eager to see if your favorite will take home the coveted title, read on to learn everything to know about the supersized episode, including the start and end time, how to watch and more.

The 48th season of CBS’s long-running reality series premiered in late February and introduced a new group of 18 castaways. After they were divided into three tribes – Civa, Vula, and Lagi – the contestants got to work outwitting and outplaying one another, as well as forming alliances (including Eva and Joe’s, as well as Kyle and Kamilla’s partnership).

Tonight’s winner will not only receive the title of Sole Survivor, but they’ll also get a whopping $1 million prize, so there’s a lot at stake. The five castaways competing for the Season 48 crown are Eva Erickson, Joe Hunter, Kamilla Karthigesu, Kyle Fraser, and Mitch Guerra.

In the finale, the final three contestants will plead their case to the jury, made up of eliminated players from the show, who will question, critique, and assess their gameplay. Ultimately, it’s the tribal council who will decide the Season 48 winner.

Host Jeff Probst teased to Entertainment Weekly that the competition will be tough this season, as any of the remaining five players could win.

“It’s very rare to have a final five where you can make a legitimate case for any of them to win. That’s what we have with this group. Anyone can win,” he explained. “It will all come down to who sits next to who in the final three. Those final two immunity challenges and control over who makes fire will be key.

As for what viewers can expect in Wednesday’s three-hour finale, he teased, “It’s a tremendous finale and a fitting end to a great season of Survivor.” Here’s everything you need to know about watching the episode live.
