- The recent advancement in the city is that World Economic Forum is seeking to work with well-known memecoin the Shiba Inu ecosystem on a universal policy.
- The news was publicized by Shytoshi Kusama, the main developer and founder behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
On November 22, Kusama posted on Twitter stating that the World Economic Forum had invited them to do a partnership on “MV global policy.” Probably, Kusama is mentioning the Metaverse policy here. Connecting with the community, Kusama has introduced a Twitter poll asking for a quick vote.
“We have been warmly invited to work with WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM to partner on MV global policy.” He further added that he would love to know your decision as it is not our decision but yours.
Digital assets and blockchain technology is a topic which has been discussed at many WEF events newly. Although, it is the first time in history ever that a global organization is collaborating with a prominent meme coin.
He also highlighted the following:
Yes, I am not joking. We would be sitting with the lawmakers and will help frame global policy for the MV alongside other big names such as FB, Sand, Decentraland etc.
The poll
At the time of writing, 22,775 have voted for the poll, with 62.3% saying it is a good idea to work with WEF on MV. About 27.7% of voters have alerted not to work with the WEF. At the same time, 10% went with the “doesn’t matter to me” option.
The recent advancement comes as reports spread that Shiba Inu is setting foot into a collaboration with a large business organization, Amazon. At the time of writing, Shiba Inu is trading at 1.79% down in the past 24 hours and currently stands at $0.000008893. Although, in between the wider market correction, the SHIB price is down over 80% over 2021.
At the time of the crypto bull run in 2021, Shiba Inu was among the most traded altcoins in the market. In another major advancement, Marcie Jastrow, a metaverse advisor, will portray the memecoin ecosystem at the Immerse Global Summit 2022.
From December 5th to December 7th, 2022, Jastrow will be attending the summit, which will be organized at Fontainebleau Hotel Miami, Florida. This enhancement will definitely draw a broader identification to Shiba Inu globally.
