Meta is a Terrorist Organization?
It’s been nine months and the Russia-Ukraine war is still talk of the town. The Russians invaded their victims in February and are continuously inflicting harm to Ukrainian people and infrastructure. Recently, Vladimir Putin called Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta a terrorist organization. He claims that Ukrainians are posting content to increase violence against their people.
Reuters first reported that Russia has listed them in their list of terror organizations. The Kremlin went hard on Twitter and Facebook and banned the platforms in March 2022 following the extremist acts of their victims on social media. The European Union retaliated by demonetizing Russian state-sponsored media in their territories.
Recently, Meta released their long anticipated VR goggles Quest Pro during Meta Connect conference. Mark Zuckerberg says that it is the next big thing in the industry. It is believed that the company is going to become one of the leading players in the metaverse market. But who knows how this comment by the Russian President will play out in their reputation.
However, everybody knows that Russia started the attack and has inflicted only pain to the Ukrainians. It appears like allegations may not inflict considerable damage to the company.

According to the US, the strike affected non-military targets in Ukraine. Joe Biden says the United States will keep backing Ukraine in the war. The European Union thinks that Russia has committed a war crime with the move.
Ukraine’s President Zelensky said that they will grow their army stronger and make the battlefield painful for Russia. Till now, the country has gained massive support across the world. Cryptocurrencies have played an important role for the country as the government has used the digital assets to buy war equipment to stand against the enemies.
