How did the Ethereum Founder maintain his cool?
The Time published an article by the title The Man Behind Ethereum Is Worried About Crypto’s Future, in which Vitalik Buterin highlighted his concerns regarding the future of the network. And post this publication, a bunch of Twitter users have mocked him for his appearance.
One of the Twitter users tweeted, commenting on his appearance, saying how can someone be so rich and still ugly.
But the Ethereum founder maintained his calm, highlighting that the quote tweets on the new time article about him are truly amazing. He tweeted some of them saying that these are barely cherry-picked and that it’s pretty much one piece of awesome after another. And he highly recommends scrolling.
Whereas Cardano’s founder and Ethereum‘s co-founder, Charles Hoskinson, gave Vitalik his share of advice, suggesting that it becomes easier day by day to deal with the critics.
Furthermore, some Twitter users also supported Buterin calling the mockers to be insecure trolls while questioning their contribution to humanity. Buterin was the one to find the Ethereum network, which has now emerged to be a vast network, the cryptocurrency ETH is the second-largest by market cap after Bitcoin (BTC).
Vital Buterin also co-founded the Bitcoin magazine. He also donated around $1 billion worth of Shiba Inu (SHIB) to India’s Covid Relief Fund and contributed to other charities. This 27-year old has emerged to be an influential entity in the crypto industry and was also featured on Forbes 30 under 30 and Forbes 40 under 40.
In the piece published by Time, Buterin expressed his concerns that crypto has a high dystopian potential if implemented wrongly. He opined his worries about the increased gas fees, overeager displays, and the obtrusive show of wealth, which has become synonymous with cryptocurrency.
He further expressed his opinions on the trendy concept of NFTs, mentioning projects like Bored Ape Yacht Club, highlighting the peril if you own these $3 million monkeys, and this becomes a different type of gambling.
Buterin had a dream for Ethereum to be a shining light for optimistic experimentations and to end silicon valley’s superiority over the digital space.
