Valkyrie, VanEck, HKUST join TRON Hackathon 2022 as judges

TRON (TRX/USD) DAO and BitTorrent (BTT/USD) Chain announced that Valkyrie Investments, VanEck, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) will serve as strategic partners and judges on the TRON Grand Hackathon 2022, Bloomberg reported.

Kristy-Leigh Minehan, the Technical Advisor of Valkyrie Investments, will be joining the Hackathon as advisor and judge. She has over a decade of experience in the blockchain industry. Minehan commented:

VanEck was among first asset managers to file Bitcoin ETF application

VanEck, founded back in 1955, is a perfect example of tradition meets modernity. They were one of the first asset managers to file a Bitcoin (BTC/USD) ETF application with the SEC. In 2020, they launched Bitcoin ETN and Ethereum (ETH/USD) ETN in 2021. The listing of TRON ETN follows these two launches.

VanEck will be represented at the hackathon by Gabor Gurbacs, Director of Digital Assets Strategy. He commented:

HKUST ranks in top 30 universities worldwide

Founded in 1991, HKUST is widely seen as one of the most dynamically growing universities in the world. It was ranked 27th in the world and second in Hong Kong by QS 2021. Prof. Kani Chen, Director of Crypto Fintech Lab at HKUST, will represent the leading academic institution on the judging panel. He said:
