Two Indian films – ‘They Call Him OG’ and ‘Greater Kalesh’ – are on Netflix global top 10 list this week.

Two new Indian films released on Netflix this week – the Telugu film They Call him OG had its digital debut while Netflix India original Hindi film Greater Kalesh also landed online this week. Both the Indian movies managed to make a space for themselves in the weekly list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix across the globe.

Recording 3.2 million views and 8 million watch-hours, They Call Him OG became the fifth most-watched non-English film on Netflix for the week ending October 26. It also ranked among top ten most-watched movies on the platform for the week in eleven countries. These include Maldives, Mauritius, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Bahrain, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. With 3.5 million views in the country, They Call Him OG is the most-watched film – on Netflix as well as all online platforms – in India.
Directed and written by Sujeeth (Saaho), They Call Him OG is a DVV Danayya production and is a period action crime film. The film featuring Pawan Kalyan in lead role, is touted to be the second one in the ‘Sujeeth Cinematic Universe’ after the 2019 film starring Prabhas. Apart from Kalyan, They Call Him OG also stars Prakash Raj, Priyanka Mohan, Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Das, Tej Sapru, Sriya Reddy, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sudev Nair, Rahul Ravindran, Abhimanyu Singh, Harish Uthaman, and Saurav Lokesh. When it released in theatres on September 25, it had a record opening and went on to rank among top-grossing Indian films of 2025.

With two million views and 1.7 million watch-hours, Greater Kalesh is the ninth most-watched non-English film on Netflix worldwide for the week. It was also the second most-watched film on Netflix as well as on any online platform in India. Ormax Media recorded two million views for the film in India alone.
Greater Kalesh is the topmost viewed film on Netflix in four countries including Mauritius, Bangladesh, Maldives and Pakistan. It also ranks among top ten movies in ten countries on the platform. These include Bahrain, India, Sri Lanka, Oman, Qatar and UAE; apart from Mauritius, Bangladesh, Maldives and Pakistan. It is second most-watched film online on any platform in India.
Directed by Aditya Chandiok, Greater Kalesh features Indian digital star Ahsaas Channa along with Supriya Shukla. It has received mostly good reviews for the familial warmth it offers, and the makers also attracted appreciation for keeping it short and crisp.
Top films in India on Netflix
Meanwhile, the Hindi version of Kannada film Kantara continues to rank among top viewed films in India along with War 2, Son of Sardaar, Saiyaara and A House of Dynamite. Vash Level 2, The Elixir and Mahavatar Narsimha also rank on the list.
