Twenty One Pilots’ “Doubt” debuts at No. 2 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart in the U.K. a decade … More
About a month before Twenty One Pilots dropped “The Contract,” the lead single from the band’s upcoming album Breach, the group delivered a fan favorite in a slightly altered form. Twenty One Pilots shared the demo version of “Doubt” in May, a decade after it was originally released on the band’s breakout full-length Blurryface.
The tune has returned, this time on vinyl, after the physical edition became a collectible among fans, especially in the United Kingdom. Years after it was first released, and weeks after the band doled out an unusual take on the cut, it has transformed into a bestseller and nearly topped one chart.
Twenty One Pilots Nearly Land a Second No. 1
“Doubt” arrives on the Official Vinyl Singles chart this week, opening in the runner-up spot. The band previously led the tally with “Jumpsuit,” which spent one frame at No. 1 more than half a decade ago.
Four Hits and Several Top 10s
The Grammy-winning pair has now sent four tracks to the Official Vinyl Singles chart, including this latest win. “A Few Older Ones” peaked at No. 7, while “The Outside” reached No. 27 just months ago, in December 2024.
Chappell Roan Blocks Twenty One Pilots From No. 1
Twenty One Pilots land just short of scoring another No. 1 on the U.K.’s list of bestselling vinyl songs. Chappell Roan debuts at the summit with “The Giver,” a months-old cut that was recently issued on vinyl as well, and it adds to her growing list of rulers.
“Doubt” Reaches Three Charts in the U.K.
“Doubt” lands on a trio of tallies across the Atlantic, starting inside the top 10 on all of them. In addition to launching at No. 2 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, the band’s latest offering begins its time on the Official Physical Singles tally at No. 3 and the Official Singles Sales roster at No. 9.
In both cases, the outfit collects its second top 10 hit. So far, the group has earned four total placements on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts, while its performance on the main list of bestselling tracks is significantly more impressive.
On the Official Singles Sales chart, Twenty One Pilots has scored 15 smashes — almost twice as many as on both the vinyl and physical singles tallies combined.
