Selection Sunday is finally here, meaning the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket becomes official this evening at 6 p.m. ET.
The Selection Sunday show, which airs on CBS and can be live streamed via March Madness Live, will put an end to weeks of speculation surrounding which teams will make 68-team March Madness field and how they will be seeded.
There’s rarely a shortage controversy surrounding the programs that were on the bubble that did or didn’t receive an at-large bid to the Big Dance.
Debate around the schools that shouldn’t have to settle for an NIT appearance or weren’t worthy of making the field will surely rage after the bracket reveal, but 32 teams will avoid a committee decision by earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
You can find all of the 2022 conference champions in the table below. These schools will only have to fret about where they get seeded and what region they will land in during tonight’s Selection Sunday show.
There are slew of squads in the running for a No. 1 seed, with Kansas, Baylor, Arizona and Gonzaga looking most likely to nab one.
Anything could happen on Selection Sunday, however, especially with five conference tournaments still needing to decide a champion in the final hours leading up to the show.
FanDuel has already placed odds on which team will cut down the nets next month in New Orleans when the Final Four concludes. You can find the betting lines for the top contenders below, as well as some other March Madness props currently on the board.
With that in mind, here’s everything you need to know to watch—and bet on—the official March Madness Selection show tonight, giving us a first glimpse at the 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket:

Gonzaga is a heavy favorite to win March Madness this year, avenging their shortcomings against Baylor in last season’s National Championship. The Bulldogs are currently a +380 favorite to run the table during the 2022 NCAA Tournament, well ahead of the rest of the field.
Arizona has the second-best odds, going off at +600 on the morning of Selection Sunday. The Wildcats had arguably the most impressive regular season and conference tourney run of any team in the March Madness field, going 31-3 while claiming both the Pac-12 regular season and tournament titles.
Kentucky is projected to be a force again this year, evidenced by their +750 odds—the third-best of any program—to win a national title. The Wildcats fell in the SEC Tournament semifinals to a plucky Tennessee opponent, a loss that likely cost the squad a chance at a No. 1 seeding, but should bounce back in the Big Dance.
Baylor has +1100 odds of repeating as NCAA Tournament champs, respectable odds after the program went 26-5 in the regular season and claimed a share of the Big 12 title. The Bears fell in their conference tourney opener, however, and may have to settle for a No. 2 seed in the Big Dance.
Kansas has the fifth-best odds to win it all this year at +1200. The Jayhawks are coming off a Big 12 tournament victory, capping off a 28-6 campaign leading up to March Madness. KU is a great bet to lead a region, likely the Midwest, when the brackets are revealed tonight.
Duke rounds out the top six teams with the best odds of winning March Madness this year. The Blue Devils are currently +1300 to win their first NCAA Tournament championship since 2015. The program hasn’t made it back to the Final Four since then but looks poised to make a run after an impressive regular season and subsequent trip to the ACC Tournament championship game.
