Tulane coach Jon Sumrall is the betting favorite to replace the fired Brian Kelly at LSU, per Betonline.ag
The oddsmakers believe LSU will stay in-state to hire Sumrall, the 43-year-old Texas native. Sumrall is 38-10 for his career and 15-6 in two year at Tulane.
Sumrall is followed by Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady (3/2), the offensive coordinator from their LSU’s magical title run in 2019. Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin (4/1) and former Penn State coach James Franklin (6/1), who had a $50 million buyout at the Big Ten school are next among the favorites.
Other names of note include ex-Ohio State and Florida coach Urban Meyer (40/1), former NFL head coach Jon Gruden (40/1) and ex-Alabama coach Nick Saban (75/1).
