Play at the 2023 Masters was suspended for the second time Friday afternoon as a looming thunderstorm and high winds downed trees and forced officials to evacuate the Augusta National Golf Club.

The Masters announced it had suspended play shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday—the second suspension in less than two hours, following a 21 minute delay.

High winds also brought down two towering pine trees near a group of spectators standing by the tee of the 17th hole, though ESPN reported nobody was hurt.

Brooks Koepka is currently leading as of Friday afternoon, shooting 12 under par after 36 holes.
